I’m a business journalist at Modern Retail, where I cover how consumer-facing brands are built (or rebuilt). My focus is on behind-the-scenes decisions that shape the future of commerce.I'm especially drawn to the operational side of things: distribution bets, pivots, and the trade-offs no one talks about. Lately, I’ve been reporting on how rising eco-consciousness is pushing brands to confront their impact on the environment and take real action on sustainability. I also specialize in the home category, health and wellness, and the evolving fintech space.Outside of MR, I contribute to local journalism in California’s Mojave Desert, covering affordable housing, environmental preservation, and the small business economy. I’m also the co-founder of Dance Mojave, a 501(c)(3) arts organization that produces original performances with casts and crews of all ages and abilities.I thrive on collaboration—especially when it’s a project no one else is doing.
