Hi! I'm Mike! As a Senior Washington Correspondent for Anadolu Agency, the largest news agency in Turkey and the Middle East, I produce and author news coverage on foreign policy, national security, and political issues, reaching millions of readers and viewers worldwide. With a Master's degree in Conflict Resolution from Georgetown University, I have a deep understanding of the dynamics and challenges of global affairs, and a passion for informing and engaging the public.I have worked as a multimedia journalist in Washington for over a decade, developing skills as an editor, video journalist, photographer, and producer. I have covered major events and stories from the field, such as the impacts of the economic crises in West Virginia and Detroit, social unrest in Ferguson and St. Louis, and the activities and policy of the three branches of government. I also train and mentor junior staff in the fundamentals of journalism, and collaborate with colleagues and sources across different platforms. My mission is to deliver accurate, timely, and compelling news stories that reflect the diversity and complexity of the world.
