I am a reporter with WTVD, the ABC O&O in Raleigh, North Carolina. Prior to joining WTVD, I reported for KVUE-TV, the ABC affiliate in Austin, Texas. I compiled live and taped reports for broadcast, as well as wrote stories posted to the website. My work was a combination of stories I pitch and assigned pieces from producers and assignment editors. During my time with KVUE, I reported on major events for TEGNA affiliates, ranging from the Super Bowl in Houston to legislative proposals at the Capitol. Before KVUE, I was a sports reporter/producer for WAPT-TV, the ABC affiliate in Jackson, MS. At WAPT, I covered everything from the New Orleans Saints to nationally-ranked college football teams (the Mississippi State Bulldogs and Ole Miss Rebels), as well as local high school sports, and the state's Senate race. I shoot, edit, and produce my own content. On top of my television experience, I also served as a fill-in anchor for The Zone 105.9, the ESPN radio affiliate in the Jackson, Mississippi area. In both of these roles, I helped run their respective social media accounts, where I interact with viewers and listeners. I graduated from the University of Miami, where I double-majored in Broadcast Journalism and Political Science, and minored in Sports Administration.
