Michelai Graham

Michelai Graham is a reporter with experience in investigative reporting and news writing across various topics, most notably technology, startups, business, cryptocurrency, and true crime. She studied at Michigan State University, earning a B.A. in journalism and a B.A. in media and information in 2016. While living in Washington, D.C., Michelai earned her M.A. in journalism and public affairs with an emphasis on investigative reporting in 2018 from American University. Since March 2022, she has worked as a tech reporter at Boardroom, where she pens the weekly Tech Talk newsletter, writes tech product reviews, and interviews guests on camera about an array of culturally relevant topics. Aside from her day job, Michelai is a passionate and dedicated storyteller interested in covering crime and mass incarceration. She independently co-produces the true-crime podcast The Point of No Return, which chronicles cold cases, murders, and mysteries in different regions. Michelai is also an avid dog walker, amateur bartender, and beading connoisseur.
