(www.IREI.com) Prior to joining IREI, Consol spent 17 years with American City Business Journals, the nation’s largest publisher of metropolitan business journals with 40 weekly newspapers across the United States. Prior to that he was news editor of the Pasadena Star-News. Since 2009, he has also been president of Consol Business Communications, a corporate communications coaching practice that provides training in: 1) Public speaking skills, 2) PowerPoint presentation skills, 3) Business writing skills. His clients included MetLife Real Estate Investors, BlackBerry, Intuitive Surgical, LitePoint, Sungevity, Sybase (now SAP) and Kabam. Consol is a native of upstate New York. He attended Arizona State University, graduating with a bachelor’s degree in journalism and a minor in political science. He lives in the San Francisco Bay Area.
