Hi! I'm Morgan, a Los Angeles-based film publicist/writer and awards specialist. I've always had a passion for storytelling. At 15 years old, I became the youngest local news reporter hired in LA County and continued to hone my interest in broadcast journalism at Chapman University. In 2013, I founded the independent film review website Cinemacy and have been contributing weekly film reviews to newspapers across the South Bay for nearly seven years. In addition to Cinemacy, I am a “Tomatometer Approved” film critic for Rotten Tomatoes, a board member of the Hollywood Critics Association, and a member of the Online Association of Female Film Critics. I have been lucky to have diverse career experience throughout the industry, including music supervisor for many MTV reality series and editorial manager for Sundance Institute. I am currently the Head of Public Relations at the award-winning commercial/music video production company PRETTYBIRD and Academy Award-nominated studio Ventureland, where I oversee the directorial roster, awards campaigns, and online presence. When I'm not working (which, admittedly, is rare), my hobbies include scuba diving, listening to ambient music, and Cinespia summer nights.
