Claim your profileNailah has spent the last nine years shooting, directing, and editing video productions that explore the complexities of culture, community and politics. She has produced for The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, NowThis News, KQED, PBS NewsHour, Oakland North, Al Jazeera, NBC BLK, and the San Francisco Chronicle, and produced international documentaries in Egypt, Sweden, and Mexico. Nailah earned her master’s degree in journalism with an emphasis in documentary production at the UC Berkeley Graduate School of Journalism. In addition, she shot the opening scene for the 2017 Student Academy Award winning film, Hale.
