His career began as a high schooler hosting YouTube shows with a green screen in his bedroom. He'd travel Texas through college freelancing for Bally Sports Southwest, local stations, and websites. Before joining KARK/KLRT in December 2019, Nick's last stop in TV was at KING Seattle as a writer. Nick has been editor-in-chief of long-running Texas prep sports website The Old Coach for over four years, still overseeing it today as he helps mentor students. He has also contributed in the past to 247Sports, CBS Sports Digital, and ESPN Radio. In his career Nick has covered pro sports, college sports at the highest levels, bowl games, and a lot of Friday night lights. His work has been featured on SportsCenter, Bleacher Report, among other national platforms. Nick now calls Little Rock home, reporting on everything from Hogs to high school. Nick’s trademark is blending conventional storytelling and creative media, differentiating his sports reporting with unique production values. He’s passionate about using his platform to offer student-athletes exposure and to shed light on those whose path goes beyond the game, be it special needs or however disadvantaged.
