About

Born and bred on the West Coast, in Vancouver, I got the writing bug as a child and went to Ottawa to learn the craft of being a journalist.In my decade plus in the news industry, I worked for CTV News, CTV News Vancouver, The Canadian Press and international non-profit reporting outlets, where I covered issues ranging from large-scale organized crime and corruption to municipal politics and honed my skills under the watch of talented editors. I’m an effective communicator who builds connections with people from across all walks of life and share their stories.Outside of work, I helped restart the Caroline Rigg Wells scholarship at Crofton House School in memory of my mother. The scholarship helps funds students to attend post-secondary institutes, whether they choose college or university.
