Claim your profileRecycling organics is necessary to achieve a circular economy, mitigate climate change, and build soil health. I’ve devoted my career at BioCycle to showcasing the connections between the many synergies between food, soil, compost, and energy. We aim to build momentum towards resilient, renewable systems by leveraging these mutually beneficial domains. As Editor of BioCycle, I work with a close-knit team to drive the mission my father established at The JG Press, Inc. in working to educate and empower organics recycling professionals. We strive to write poignant analysis, collect robust data, and shed light on best practices to positively influence the national and international conversation on organics recycling. In the broader sustainability community, I am an active contributor to several important initiatives including serving on the Board of Directors for the Institute for Local-Self Reliance and the American Biogas Council, as well as an Advisor to ReFED. In the past, I also served on the Technical Core Committee of the Sustainable SITES Initiative.
