Claim your profileWho am I?A general assignment reporter for WAAY 31 news in Huntsville, Alabama. I cover everything from breaking news to severe weather going live multiple times a day during our 4, 4:30, 5, & 6pm newscasts. What is my experience? I have been reporting at WAAY 31 News since May of 2023. I received my bachelors from Central Michigan University where I was a double major in Broadcast & Cinematic Arts and Communication. I got 4 years of on-air experience within CMU’s Moore Hall Television ranging in positions from reporter, to anchor, to host. Outside of the broadcasting department, I completed 3 internships in the news industry. My first internship was with Woodward Sports, a multimedia podcasting company and I was featured on the show: The Morning Woodward. My second internship was at News Nation in Chicago where I was a segment producer for Leland Vittert’s show On Balance. And my third was at WILX News 10 in Lansing, where I learned everything I could about local news. I like to spend my weekends going out and dancing with friends, or winding down with a good show or movie. I enjoy consuming all types of media from news, to film, to social media and will spend any free moment scrolling through TikTok.
