Park Pang (彭栢骏, 박지훈) is an ethnic Korean adopted and raised by Hong Kong SAR Chinese parents in Canada. Pang is currently a Bachelor of Arts (BA) student at Western University (London, ON) double-majoring in Popular Music Studies and Political Science. Following the completion of this degree, Pang intends to pursue a Master’s degree in International Relations (IR) in China and work as a full-time journalist. Pang’s written works, primarily published through various magazines and online outlets, often focus on cultural and political topics. In the past, Pang has interviewed the office of a Member of Parliament (MP), experts in music cognition and in media and gender studies, as well as a mother living in Gaza, Palestine. Through the personal newsletter Voice of the Proletariat, Pang offers analysis and commentary on current events, international relations, geopolitics, industry studies, and more. On June 21, 2026, the publication was ranked #98 Rising in World Politics. Pang is fluent in English and Cantonese Chinese, intermediate in Mandarin Chinese and French, and is learning Russian and Korean.
