I’m an editor for European government for Bloomberg News, helping to coordinate coverage of political and economic news in central and eastern Europe. Previously I spent many years writing about Germany and Europe, with a focus on Chancellor Angela Merkel. In recent years I’ve covered the breakdown of the trans-Atlantic relationship during the Trump presidency, the European refugee crisis, the EU response to Russia’s seizure of Crimea – and all the moving parts of the euro crisis, including bailout politics, monetary policy and sovereign-bond spreads.
