Gillespie has been a photojournalist for 17 years and a professional photographer for almost 20 years. The last thirteen plus years he has worked for Capital Gazette newspapers, first at the Maryland Gazette and the last 11 at The Capital newspaper in Annapolis, Maryland. Freelance clients include Washington College, The Maryland Association of Realtors, Crosby Marketing, US State Department, Quoizel Lighting, The State of Maryland, The Pittsburgh Post Gazette, The Marley Station Mall and UMBC.Prior to moving to the Baltimore-Washington area, Paul worked in the Atlantic City, NJ region. During this time, he worked as a freelance photographer for clients including The Press of Atlantic City, AYS Sports Marketing, Pennsylvania Hospital, The Greater Atlantic City Hotel/Motel Association and many casinos.Paul's first staff photojournalist position was at The Current newspapers in Egg Harbor Township, NJ.
