Paul Myles is an award-winning journalist from London and is currently the European Editor for WardsAuto. He was previously Editor of the automotive technology title TU-Automotive and steered the title to be winner of the US Folio: Eddie Award Best B2B Website for Technology 2019. He is able to draw on a richly diverse journalistic career at a national media level. Having had a long running column in The Sunday People newspaper, Motoring Myles reported on all the recent news in the motoring industry, admiring what is hot on the motorways and analyses those vehicles which simply should not be anywhere near a public road! Paul’s journalism career began on regional newspapers before he became feature writer of Motor Cycle News, which fostered his passion for motor sports. After his stint at MCN, he went on to become a prolific national reporter, writing for various top newspaper titles, inclusive of The Sun, Daily and Sunday Express, Daily Mirror and corresponding for ITN. Unlike many other motoring buffs who are largely depicted as ‘petrol heads’, Paul bemoans the trends of excessive car use in the UK today, seeing Britons using their vehicles only as transporters for a commute. Now divides his time between London and a holiday home near Trier in Germany, where he enjoys the freedom of being just a drive away from all the major European automotive hubs.
