I am a real-time sports reporter who writes about breaking news regarding Kansas City's teams. I also have a blog that focuses on the lighter side of sports, including viral videos, off-the-field events and what players share on social media. In each of the previous 10 years, I have been the most-read writer at KansasCity.com.I'm a member of the Baseball Writers' Association of America and assist in The Star's coverage of the Royals.In my digital role at The Star, I have created and processed videos and maintained the sports site.I've collaborated on numerous sections and projects that have been recognized as among the best in the country (by the Associated Press Sports Editors) and the state (Missouri AP).
