Claim your profileI'm the Public Policy Editor at the Financial Times, having moved from the Telegraph Media Group, where I was latter Europe Editor covering Brexit issues. Before that, Washington DC, Beijing and New Delhi where I covered the rise of Asia's two new great powers. Since 1999 I have covered major world events including the September 11 attacks in New York, subsequent wars in Afghanistan and Iraq, the Asian Tsunami of 2004, the Kashmir Earthquake of 2005, the Fukushima Disaster of 2011 and the Olympic Games in Sydney and Beijing. In that time I have also charted the course of great global change, leading, managing and developing three of the Daily Telegraph’s most important foreign bureau, driving expanded coverage first in India and South Asia (2004-8) then China (2009-12) and finally the United States (2014-present). With this broad-based international perspective I am passionate about explaining the world and its current economic and social transitions through a truly global perspective.
