Claim your profileI was a student at Washington State University studying English and journalism. I am passionate about covering stories about underrepresented groups and shining a light on their voices. I had editing and publishing experience with my school's award-winning literary journal, LandEscapes, for three years, and as a copyeditor for two. I wrote for my university's award-winning, student-led newspaper, The Daily Evergreen, and covered breaking news, stories that affected students, and anything of public interest. In the Fall 2022, I was the culture beat reporter and covered issues and events involving multicultural organizations and groups. During Spring of 2023, I was the deputy news editor and still wrote stories covering the Moscow, Idaho homicides.I participated in Murrow College's Religion Reporting Project and visited three religious spaces during Fall of 2022. I was a summer reporting intern for AsAmNews in 2022, a nonprofit news organization. Summer of 2023 I spend three weeks in Greece and Bulgaria to learn foreign reporting and produce content. Afterward, I was an intern for the Bellingham Herald where I covered education, enterprise and breaking news stories.
