Claim your profileRiley Bunch is a reporter on the local government team at The Atlanta Journal-Constitution covering Atlanta City Hall. She is responsible for coverage of Atlanta’s mayor and City Council while also keeping an eye on the city’s diverse neighborhoods and the policy changes that affect them. Riley is a former policy reporter at Georgia Public Broadcasting, which she joined in 2020 to report stories at the intersection of government and daily life. Riley is adept at using multimedia elements to reach digital audiences. Riley is also a skilled photographer. Prior to GPB, Riley was the Georgia statehouse reporter for CNHI News, where she covered the general assembly, 2020 elections and statewide social issues. Some of her notable work included the lack of access to rural health care, agriculture reform, maternal mortality and care for Georgians with disabilities. Riley began her career at the Idaho Press in Boise, after graduating from S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications at Syracuse University.
