Across many beat assignments, my focus has always been on people - in breaking news, narrative non-fiction, in-depth series and investigative work. I enjoy being part of or leading a reporting team, but I am also very self-directed and have done many major projects on my own, My work has won many prizes, but the greatest reward has been when it has impacted others' lives and helped bring about positve change.
