Claim your profileI have been working for national newspapers and magazines since 2008, writing and editing features and news. In January 2020 I won the Bar Council's Legal Reporting Award for written journalism, for my four-part narrative series of long reads, 'The Trial: Secrets of Jury Service'. I was shortlisted for both the Washington Post's Laurence Stern Fellowship and the Gaby Rado Prize at the Amnesty Media Awards in 2015 for my undercover reportage from Iran, and won Johnston Press's Feature Writer of the Year award in 2017. I covered the 2016 Rio Olympics for i, reported from Somaliland on the East Africa Drought the following year, and interviewed former FBI director James Comey in 2018 and 2021.
