I work as News Editor at The Echo newspaper in Cork. I previously acted as both the City Council and County Council reporter for the title. Before that, I worked as a digital journalist at the Irish Examiner. My journalism career began as a reporter and news editor at Changing Ireland magazine. I have been widely published across both national and local papers. I was awarded the Sunday Times 'Young Journalist of the Year' in 2014. I graduated from Journalism and New Media BA with a first-class honours degree and the highest QCA in my year. I am adept at news/sports/entertainment writing, feature writing, and sub-editing.
