Claim your profileI am a healthcare journalist at Reuters News. In 2021, I co-published an enterprising series about the state of diabetes care in the U.S. It won the first place award for health policy from the Association of Health Care Journalists. I'm also a data journalist. In 2017, I was in Puerto Rico during Hurricane Maria, and for weeks I covered the storm's aftermath. Our reporting won a New York Press Club Award. In 2016, I reported a series of stories about the deteriorating access to healthcare in Puerto Rico and the lack of government aid to severely disabled U.S. citizens there.
