From a young age I always coveted knowledge above all else. Pursuing a career in the sciences, I applied my vast scholastic interests into a diverse career. Attending one of the top biological science programs in the nation, I found a passion in a seemingly unrelated skill—writing. Finding a true talent for conveying difficult scientific material to even the least knowledgeable reader, I excelled in all of my upper-division courses as I explored other avenues of applying my knowledge and my passions. After graduating in one of the most technically difficult majors offered, I have spent the last few months exploring the world and taking advantage of opportunities that have arisen from my talents. Spending a month in the south of Italy, I was able to satiate my ecological thirst for knowledge by conducting field research in some of the most diverse tidepools the world has to offer. After returning, I was given the opportunity to travel to Russia as the only English-speaking representative to cover a prestigious festival in the heart of Moscow. Having had the opportunity to travel, I have acquired the ability to adapt to my environments, picking up on languages very quickly, and am able to communicate to an international audience. Constantly striving to further develop my range of knowledge, I find my truest happiness in bringing news (in all its forms) to the public. Taking advantage of the time that I have had this year abroad and the great colleagues I've met along the way, I have brought one of my dreams to fruition—Archaic Press. Developing a magazine entirely dedicated to some of the greatest talent our generation has to offer, I have been able to bring Millennial culture and fashion into the print medium with Archaic Press. Working alongside a talented group of contributors, I have passionately worked to take a dream and make it reality. Learning a vast amount about myself and my industry, my skill sets have grown exponentially with my fervor and my ambition.
