Whether it’s leading philanthropic campaigns - like our Santa's Helpers toy drive - or building relationships with community organizations, my goal is always the same — help solve problems that matter and bring people together to make an impact.Along the way, I’ve picked up seven EMMY Awards and a National Edward R. Murrow Award. Those are great accolades symbolizing recognition by my peers. While I’m honored by these awards, what drives me even more is the real-world impact we've made. In two years I've collected more than $2.5 million dollars in cash and toy donations serving more than 100,000 children across DFW. We've cleared waiting lists of students in need of school uniforms. We've collected 35,000 school supplies. We've built a nearly three-mile nature trail. And we're just getting started.I’m passionate about finding unique solutions to challenges that affect our community, and I love that as broadcasters we have the power - and the platform - to be a force for good.
