His work has also been praised in the House of Commons.He started out reporting for the Observer Standard Newspaper Group with his reports featuring in titles such as the Rugby Observer, the Lutterworth Observer and the Coventry Observer. His time in journalism sandwiches a five year spell in public relations where he worked for a wide range of clients - particularly in the sports and leisure industry. He was heavily involved in promoting the Coventry and Warwickshire region's involvement with London 2012.Simon also helped to produce the award-winning Coventry City match day programme and B2B magazine C&W in Business.
