I started a successful career in sales in the UK in the early 2000's but found the roles to be unfulfilling. During my time in sales I held several sales manager roles.I relocated to Australia in 2011 working in several sales roles with companies including Telstra, Flight Centre and Internode. I was then offered the opportunity to study. I enjoyed a successful three years studying for a Bachelor of Journalism at the University of South Australia, graduating in 2016. I then completed an honours degree, graduating in 2017.My thesis was around the way social media presents news items and the potential dangers of that in terms of misinformation and disinformation within filter bubbles.In July 2017 I was given the opportunity to take up a cadet journalist role with McPherson media at the Benalla Ensign.I was subsequently taken on as a full time journalist, before being promoted to Senior Journalist and eventually Editor.Since taking on that role I have also taken on the positions of Editor for the Seymour Telegraph and Cobram Courier.
