In the middle of 2024, I made the decision to leave my job as the Deputy Editor for Forbes Advisor Australia where I had worked for two years to start my own business, Never Make Your Bed Incorporated. It's not a real business: it's my Substack. What is real is that I am indeed a full time freelance writer, and (prior to Forbes) I also worked for small business and startup news site SmartCompany as the Associate Editor.
