Stefanie has reported for the Globe and Mail's Report on Business, Alberta bureau, and national and investigative desks, as well as the Toronto Star and and CBC Politics in Ottawa. She was also a chase produced for CBC Power & Politics. Before her time in the newsroom, Stefanie worked in public affairs and corporate communications at TD Bank and the Government of Ontario, supporting files that include retail and digital banking, environmental and corporate social responsibility, mining and economic development. She started her career as a part-time bank teller while running her university's student newspaper as the editor-in-chief.
