Claim your profileThroughout my career in Washington, D.C., I’ve focused on breaking down complex business and policy stories to make them accessible to diverse audiences. It began with a passion for uncovering the truth and connecting with people, transforming complex issues into stories that resonate. That drive took me through some of the most pivotal economic moments of our time—from covering the dot-com bubble to the 2008 financial crisis—where I worked to make sense of chaos for the public. One of my proudest moments was earning an Emmy for reporting on China’s emergence as an economic power, a series that underscored the global forces shaping our economy. Wanting to expand my perspective, I pursued an MBA at UVA’s Darden School of Business. The experience sharpened my strategic thinking and leadership skills, showing me how to navigate challenges in real time, like guiding teams to collaborate effectively and breaking down silos to drive innovation. That mindset shaped my work in personal finance reporting, where I reimagined coverage by broadening topics and connecting content across platforms to better serve audiences.
