Stephen Garner has worked with Footwear News and Fairchild Media since November 2021. At FN, he leads breaking news coverage as well as contributing exclusive business features ranging from industry executive interviews, men's market coverage and fashion trend analysis. Prior to joining FN, Stephen was the longtime digital editor and fashion director at menswear trade magazine MR, where he produced and styled multiple cover stories, interviewed men’s industry executives, relaunched its website and wrote daily breaking news stories. He also held the roles of assistant accessories buyer at DLS buying office and men’s trend forecasting assistant at WGSN. Stephen began his career in magazine publishing at Fairchild as an accessories editorial intern at WWD. A Washington, D.C. area native, Stephen received a B.S. in advertising and marketing from the Fashion Institute of Technology.
