Claim your profileHello! My name's Tarla and I'm the co-founder of Agenda Media; parent company to Women’s Agenda, Women’s Health News, The Women’s Agenda podcast, and The Keynotes, alongside my business partner/work wife, Angela Priestley. Across our mastheads, we engage more than a million Australian women every month and we've achieved this as a wholly independent, women-owned and run entity. Go figure! I’m also the editor-in-chief of Women's Agenda, Australia's leading online news site championing women in their lives and careers and co-lead a team of exceptional journalists and producers. Women's Agenda has been in market for 11 years, and was launched by Private Media in 2012 as a key career resource for women. Since then, we've established it as a genuine staple in the Australian media landscape, covering everything from business, tech, and politics through to health, finance and leadership. It is the go-to news source for thousands. I specialise in communications strategy and production, editorial, social media, events and digital partnerships and earned a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Sydney. I was shortlisted in B&T magazine’s #30under30 awards ‘entrepreneur’ category in 2020. I regularly commentate on politics and women’s news, appearing on Sky News and ABC and speaking at various events promoting equality.
