Claim your profileThe weekend anchor at WKBW-TV in Buffalo, Epps has spent the last four years building trust and community connections in WNY. During the week, she works on in-depth, longer form stories digging into issues people care about.Upon graduating in 2019, she was chosen as one of four for the Journalism Career Program with E.W. Scripps. She spent two years reporting on the morning show, reporting live daily. She studied Broadcast and Digital Journalism with a minor in Political Science at Syracuse University in the S.I. Newhouse School of Communications, graduating Summa Cum Laude. A former WNEP-TV in Northeastern PA, she’s prepared herself for field reporting in a large market. She introduced herself world of TV broadcasting at CBS This Morning: Saturday this spring where she learned what goes into producing a national broadcast both behind and in front of the camera. Previously a talk programming intern for Sirius XM on the Michelangelo Signorile show, she's well versed in the world of broadcast news media. She also has experience in social media strategy from an internship at South Jersey Industries in the marketing department. She's won awards from PRNDI and NABJ for her piece on mental health in the black community, linked below.Extremely interested the field of communications as a whole, Taylor is open to any challenges that can be thrown her way. Highly motivated and a quick learner, welcomes any new opportunities with open arms. With a love of community and shared experiences, she tackles stories in a way that values the viewer's experience. Taylor's short term goals are to grow as a reporter and journalist in a mid-sized market. Her long-term career goal is to one day be a local news anchor in a large market or a national morning news anchor.
