And I'm comfortable doing this in any size newsroom; I have had leading roles at global (Yahoo!) and statewide (The Star-Ledger) publications as well as niche startups (BINJE, ROI-NJ). As a writer, I understand the old-school style of being everywhere, talking to everyone and writing even the smallest of stories is what it takes to land the big scoops. As an editor, I give my reporters the guidance and support they need – but most of all, I give them the freedom to use their talents. A senior media executive of more than 25 years, I have a history of managing and energizing large and small staffs, while re-branding and transforming products to meet the challenges of a rapidly evolving media landscape.
