An inquisitive observer and enthusiastic student of life, I relish every step of the creative process, both collaborative and independent, from brainstorming to information gathering to execution. As deep as my passion for the writing craft is my commitment to accuracy, objectivity and deadlines.My journalism experience has taught me to connect personally with interviewees, to cultivate relationships with sources and to know my audience. Thousands of assignments later, my interviewing style is insightful and relatable; my writing style is well organized, evocative and concise.As a reporter, I cover local school districts and municipal government as well as human-interest stories throughout Southern Ocean County. For Section Two, The SandPaper's guide to entertainment and the arts, I conceptualize and oversee content and hire/ supervise a summer staff. On other in-house publications, I serve as Managing Editor of the seasonal Beachcomber magazines, special editions; and Editor of the annual Happily Ever After wedding guide.
